U WHO??? MG

I grew up in Centerville with my parents, I am the fifth child of six. I graduated from Viewmont High School in 2013. I served a LDS mission in Bentenville Arkansas and because of the Spanish speaking population I had to learn to speak Spanish.

I decided to do EMT training here in Utah and upon completion, I joined the University Health Care in November of 2019.

I have been happily married to Rebecca for two years and we currently reside in Bountiful with our adorable fur baby, Dakota.  He is a happy, active Golden Retriever.
My hobbies are many, but my favorites are camping at the North Fork of the Duchesne and hunting, but I will never tell you my secret hunting spots. I also enjoy playing table top games with friends.
Something that few people know about me is: I am a huge dungeons and dragons nerd.  For the other nerds that have never played, it is a table top, role playing, and fantasy game.  There is no winners and the object is to navigate a world that the Dungeon Master made and just have fun with your friends.  If you are really interested in the game, go to https://dnd.wizards.com/dungeons-and-dragons/what-is-dd and learn all the juicy details.

One of my proudest moments was when I completed a 50 mile race at the age or 18. I am currently in training for the Squaw Peak 50 miler this June.

When I was in high school my nickname was my last name of “Garlick” but for some reason one kid started calling me “Onion”.  To this day I still don’t understand why.
If you have not guessed already, I am Michael Garlick. I was hired on as an EMT with the UOC Tashjian team.  Come over to Sports Med on the 2nd floor and meet me.
