U WHO??? CM
I grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania with my parents and three sisters. I graduated from Penn State in 2008. After school, I worked for PSU for a year before moving to Washington D.C and working as a Sleep Tech for the next 3 years.
I joined the Peace Corps as a Community Health/HIV Education volunteer in 2012 and spent the next two years in Swaziland. In Swaziland I lived with a host family. They gave me a Swazi first name and then I took their last name. My Swazi name is Taakitsi Dlamini, which means Our Girl or Part of the Family.
I returned to the US in 2014, I moved on to Savanna, Georgia where I attended PA school. After graduating, I was hired at the University (of Utah?) Health Care Pediatric PM&R Clinic in May of 2017.
I have been happily married to Pete since August of 2017, we enjoyed a wedding at Salt Lake City Hall where the only stress I had was who would be our two witnesses. I have one fur baby my adorable cat, Jerry.
My hobbies include knitting, and I have knit several of my own sweaters, hats and scarves. I also enjoy sewing, cycling, rock-climbing, hiking, and playing my guitar.
Something that few people know about me: I have been on every continent except Antarctica and I have been shark cage diving with Great White Sharks. I spend my time volunteering every Tuesday at the Guadalupe School in Rose Park teaching English to adults.
If you have not guessed already, I am Christy Morris. I was hired on as a Physician Assistant with the UOC Spine Team on 10/14/19. Come down to the first floor and meet me.
