Three tasks to be eligible to win today's big prizes.
1- Sign up to follow the blog (top of the column on the right). Enter your email in the box to the right, type the correct letters into the pop up box, confirm the email sent to your inbox. (call 7-7023 with questions)
2- Complete the scenarios below for your specific Epic Care usage and include the patient name in the email including the results of task #3 below.
Scenario-
OSS- Create a patient with your first name and the last name "Quaker". Make up whatever demographics you'd like.
Two tasks, enter an insurance for the patient and enter a phone message
M.A's Create a patient with your first name and the last name "Quaker". Also make up any demographics you like.
Two tasks enter an order and enter a phone message
Therapists. Find a patient, and patient, pull up and document a ACL Functional Test and enter a phone message.
3- Answer the two questions below the scenarios (FYI- These questions have been deemed extra credit. The correct answers to the two questions gets your name entered twice for the big prize).
Q.
1- When reviewing a patients chart that has not yet arrived for their appointment, you must (hint 'read only'):
a- Double click on the patient to look at "Chart Review"
b- Single click on the patient and then choose "Review" from the "Schedule Activity Toolbar"
c- Single click on the patient and then choose "Chart" from the "Schedule Activity Toolbar"
d- Wait until the patient arrives to review their chart
2- To route a chart to a provider which will then appear as a "Cc'd Chart" in the providers "in basket", you must place the providers name in:
a- LOS & Follow up
b- The patient instructions
c- Chart Review
d- An Abstract Encounter
Copy and paste the name of your patient into an email, and the answers to the two questions in the same email to Scott L or Ryan V.
