Engage Epic!

As most of you know January is the month we are transitioning to Epic Care. This will enhance charting, scheduling, and simplify how we document our patient interactions.

As we move towards Epic Care we want to make sure that everyone is comfortable and capable of using the new software as fluently as possible. This means that in addition to the training that everyone should be signed up for we also have an "Engage, EPIC" program for everyone to participate in.

We are attaching directions below for logging into the EPIC Playground* where the answers to our questions can be found regardless of whether or not you've had the Epic Care training.

We will have easy, medium, and hard questions which can earn you prizes for correct answers. This is open to anyone in the UOC that is transitioning to the new EPIC program. Just send the correct answers in a timely fashion to myself or Ryan Vanderwerff.

Starting January 7th we will be posting questions first thing in the morning here at the UOC Blog, then each additional Monday/Wednesday/Friday till January 22nd.

Then starting Jan 22nd we will be posting questions every day till Epic Care Go Live on Jan 28th.

We do this because we know that the more familiar you are with this program the better integration you will have and because we want you to know we appreciate the effort it can be to make a transition to something new
