Utah P.T Association Names Kim Cohee "2012 Physical Therapist of the Year"
Every year the Utah Physical Therapy Association gives honors one
individual who stands out as “Physical Therapist of the Year.” Decided by their
peers within the field this award is given to a “Physical Therapist who has
made outstanding contributions to the profession of physical therapy. This can include, but is not
limited to, those who deliver excellent care, develop excellent relationships
with other professionals, perform research and are great mentors, or practice
with exceptional results.”
We are delighted to announce that this year, Kim Cohee, our very
own Manager of Physical Therapy and Hand Therapy at the University Orthopaedic
Center was the recipient!
Susan Doucette, President of the Utah Physical Therapy Association
said, at this year’s UPTA Fall conference, “I am honored to present the PT of
the year award to Kim Cohee. Kim has made outstanding contributions to
the profession of physical therapy in her leadership, mentorship, teaching, and
service to the physical therapy community. Kim is a great individual from both
a personal and professional perspective. Kim is smart, fair, non-judgmental,
loyal, sincere, generous, and kind. Kim is a true advocate for the profession
of physical therapy.”
Kim has been the manager of the University of Utah Orthopedic
Center PT and Hand and Upper Extremity Clinics since 2004. She is highly valued
by both faculty and staff. Additionally her co-workers agree she is a great
clinic manager.
