The last day of the Meet Your Match employee giving campaign is June 30th. Please remind employees in your area about Meet Your Match—all donations over $5 in the month of June will be matched by our generous community sponsors, Larry H Miller Group of Companies, Les Olson Company and Workers Compensation Fund. Here are some frequently asked questions I have been getting:
Q: What if I already have a payroll pledge, will it count toward Meet Your Match?
A: If employees are already donating and would like their existing payroll pledge matched, have them send Gloria Garlock an email with their information asking me to roll their pledge over to the Meet Your Match program.
Q: Where does the money go?
A: Employees can give to any area of the their choice in the hospitals and clinics.
Q: Can I donate after June 30th? Will my donation be matched?
So far we have had a great response, over 210 employees have signed up in less than a month’s time. We always encourage employee donations and will accept them throughout the year. We initially said donations (over $5) for the month of June 2012 would be matched with the intent of emphasizing employee giving for one month. Our sponsors have agreed to match up to $50,000 of employee gifts, so gifts (included payroll deductions) will continue to be match until we reach $50,000—so it’s still a great time to give and do a payroll pledge!
