SLC Marathon Saturday 4/21
Hello
University of Utah Orthopaedic Staff,
The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a few good men and women to come and
volunteer at the SLC Marathon this
Saturday. We will be at the finish line on South Temple (by 3rd
West) prepared to receive the runners offering a drink, ice, or even medical
attention.
This is a great chance to support people coming from far and wide to run the
Salt Lake City Marathon. It also is a great chance to meet with fellow
co-workers when they are not in work mode.
The
shifts are in three hour blocks, based on your availability, starting at 7:30
and ending at 1:30. It should be a hot day so bring sunscreen, but lunch will
be provided for you.
If
you want to volunteer medical support please contact Dr. Christopher Gee on the
U Outlook server. For all others please
let Sally Wells know if you are available to spend some time with us this
Saturday.
And here are some photos (with some familiar faces) from the 2011 SLC Marathon:
Thanks for all your hard work and for your exceptional patient care.
