The UOC takes emergency preparedness very seriously. We know that if there is a disaster that we will be called upon to serve a large number of people affected by a natural disaster while also caring about our own families.
Each geographical area has its own unique challenges and concerns and therefore we are focusing much of our attention to earthquake preparedness due to our proximity on the Wasatch Fault. The following is a video full of information about the potential issues we all would have to contend with after an earthquake or other large disaster.
The more were are prepared as individuals the less we will need to turn to others. Whether planning for work or home, making a thorough evaluation of your potential needs is the best way build a comprehensive preparedness plan.
