We Are Invited. . .
We at the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center have been invited to take part in the University of Utah's Office of Sustainability Pledge available here:
Making simple and smart choices, such as turning off all computers each night can save thousands of dollars (yes, thousands of dollars) on energy expenses. These ideas are good for the environment, our budget, and for the computers as they will often update software when we shut them down. The IT staff can always access computers and turn them on remotely on the rare occasion that they need to install software or repair a unit with a trouble ticket.
The University of Utah's Office of Sustainability is requesting that we take this pledge as it will assist them in moving forward with reducing our environmental impact and also show them the areas where they need further educate staff and focus resources to affect positive environmental changes on campus and beyond. You can take these green tips into your homes as well and have an impact on your personal budget and your community.
It takes between five to ten minutes to complete the survey and you can sign up for more tips at the end of the survey.
Thank you for all you do to provide excellent care here at the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center.
